Our History

Jack Lehr Heating, Cooling & Electric began in 1973 when Jack Lehr, a World War II veteran and family man, opened his own HVAC business. With his wife Ruth handling the books, the company quickly became a family affair. Jack’s sons, Ed and his brother, joined in the 1980s, and Ed’s wife Karen followed in the 1990s. Over time, children, family dogs, and even two-way radios became part of the business’s personality and legacy.

In 2021, the company entered a new chapter, transitioning from family ownership to a 100% employee-owned model. While the Lehr family retired, the values that Jack instilled—honesty, integrity, and fair pricing—remain the foundation of who we are today.
